How to get rid of flies using natural pest control? I have this problem. I know many of you have the similar problem. Too many flies flying around your house is very annoying. It does not matter whether your house is clean or not they still come. I clean my kitchen so there will be no smells that will attract flies but look! there are still a flies coming. They even make a free shows in my kitchen.

One method that can be used is simply buy an insects spray and spray the flies to death. That sounds pretty cruel to me. So I probably will not subscribe to that idea.

If any of you got some idea about how to get rid those flies using a natural pest control please share them here. I want to know it and I am sure many of us here would love to know about it also.

Getting Rid Of Flies From Your House.

I hate flies especially when they are landing on my meals. As you know flies normally loves to have their unofficial gathering on shit,drainages,toilets etc. They never wash their feet. After that if they land of your meals, your meals will become contaminated. I have some tricks how to get rid of this annoying small creatures.

Fly does not really mint. Putting some small sachets of crush mint around your house will discourages them from coming to your house.
Using Bay leaves, cloves and eucalyptus in small cheese cloth squares which can be hung by open windows or doors also discourages them from entering your house.
You can also place a small opened container of sweet basil and clover near pet food or any open food in the house
Eucalyptus Oil can deter flies. A few drops of it on a scrap of absorbant cloth is good. You can leave the things in where the flies love to have their unofficial gathering.If you are a creative type of person you can even make your own flypaper with this simple recipe:Mix 1/4 cup syrup, 1 tbsp. granulated sugar and 1 tbsp. brown sugar in a small bowl. Cut strips of brown kraft paper and soak in this mixture. Let dry overnight. To hang, poke a small hole at the top of each strip and hang with string or thread.
You can also use safe and non-toxic, pheramone based outdoor and indoor fly traps wherever seems appropriate.

Have you ever came a cross a complain something like this? I know it is hard to get rid of them if there are too many cockroaches in the house. They are very quick to come to your food on the table if it is left unattended for more that 5 minutes. And once they attacked your food, you may consider to throw your food away as there are already contaminated. If only you know where those cockroaches are living? Thinking about it I feel like vomit

"We moved into a home that already had roaches and those darn things can mulitply like crazy. We put out lots of boric acid and had an exterminator come out every month. We got rid them but some things like our fridge, microwave, computer, freezer were like breeding grounds for them. They would stay near or in the motors cause it was warm and they thrive in warm places. I know it's costly to replace those things but it was worth it. We no longer live in that house and no longer see any roaches"

My 2-cents: Always clean your floor, eliminate all Cockroaches breeding ground and get something to keep them away. If possible find some natural way to get them away.

How To Get Rid of Mosquitoes From Your House

I normally will do some gardening at the back of my house in the weekend. One thing I can't stand to be out there bit longer is because of this tiny creature the mosquitoes. I hate them pretty much. Mosquitoes, disease carrying pests, can adversely affect your health. So it's imperative to get rid of them in any way you can. In the tropics like Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia,Indonesia etc so many people died because of Malaria or dengue disease carried by mosquitoes. That is how dangerous mosquitoes are.

There is a few tips for those people who got pretty much time at home to do the cleaning and getting rid those mosquitoes breeding places around your house. I use to do it before. I cleaned the garden and around the house. It seems work but only for about 1 or 2 days and they start coming in again. The reason why is because the house next door love to live with mosquitoes. He seldom doing any garden cleaning. So those mosquitoes from his house yard also come to my house. I did try to talk with him about the matter and he agree that the mosquitoes is the problem but his excuse was he does not have much time.

My 2-cents: So the only tips you can do is keep making sure your garden is free from mosquitoes breeding places.

There is one thing in every morning that I really can't stand. Discovering "bugs" in your breakfast cereal may be disgusting, but it isn't unusual, because many insects like to eat what we do. My 2-cents: The technology is indeed good and sometime very effective but I believe we should combine it with good home waste management and natural pest control. I like the idea of having 1 or 2 cats in the house to hunt the rats every night. I tried it before and it really good. Within 1 week there were no longer any rats in my house.

When you have children or pets, finding safe ways to get rid of natural pests becomes increasingly important. When one has enclosed or free-roaming reptiles, it becomes even more important to find ways to get rid of the unwanted beasties who congregate in undesirable levels in our homes and yards.

During the wet weather, I kept finding my kitchen and iguana room, and occasionally my snake room, infested with ants. I found that Grant's ant baits, properly primed with a toothpick and hot water (as directed on the box) would get rid of even the blackest flood of ants within 24-36 hours, but in the mean time, the little blighters would range far and wide. I wanted some way of restricting their travels that would still be safe for my iguanas and other free roamers. The iguanas and blue-tongue skink were of particular concern due to their habit of investigating new things in their environment with their tongues. Based on something I read in rec.pets.herp, I tried something when the last invasion was just beginning. I pulled out my large container of ground cinnamon, and poured out the cinnamon to form borders beyond which I hoped the ants would not cross.

It worked! It kept them corralled on one part of my kitchen counter, stopping them from spreading across the counter and down to the floor. As for the ants coming in a crack in the wall beneath the ceiling in the iguana room, I laid down cinnamon in the corner on the floor below, and on the basking shelves above - so the ants that managed to get down the wall between the shelves and walls were stopped at the floor. For good measure, I used a syringe and "squirted" some cinnamon into the crack itself. In less than a day, no more ants were seen. And the room smells nice, too!

Sometimes when we call some one as pest of the society it means you are not too pleased if the person come near you. An animal can also be a pest when it causes damage to a wild ecosystem or carries germs within human habitats.
